You all may have heard of a band called Blink 182. They have been around for nearly a decade now playing punk rock music all over the world. Blink 182 has more hits than most bands out there, in my opinion this bands musician ship and vocals are excellent but what makes this band is there drummer Travis Barker.
Travis Barker takes the musicianship and skill of a drummer to the next level. Like a true drummer he’s not focused on one style of beats, he mixes it up to provide the ultimate listing experience that will change the way you think about the drumming world forever. Barker was born in 1975 in California, as a boy barker was surrounded by music. When he was four barker’s mother bought him his first drum set which he began taking drum lessons on when he was five. Barker eventually moved on to other instruments such as the piano and even vocals but in the end he always came back to the drums. Travis barker is a god at playing drums; he can truly be called someone with extreme talent who knows how to use it. The things he can do with a pair of sticks are amazing! He moves around the kit like it’s no one’s business, barker uses abstract beats and fills to give his music the sickest feel that you can’t help but bob your head to. If you ever want to learn a new beat or try to improve your skills I encourage you to check out some of Travis Barkers songs, you will not be disappointed.
Wow!!! That guy is crazy on the drums! He was all over the place. I loved just watching him play. In my opinion the drums is the instrument that has the most impact on the song. It brings the beat and sets the mood for what is to come. When you have a bad drummer who doesn't put his heart into what he's doing it brings the song down a couple of levels. When you have a good drummer the song just feels more alive. I have experienced both bad and good drummer with my band and can attest to the difference and how much it effects the mood of the song. ReplyDeleteTravis barker is a sick drummer. He takes drumming to a new level and the way he incorporates beats into certain songs is truly amazing. Without barker, Blink 182 would never have been as popular as they are today. I watched the video you posted and he is insane. He puts all of his energy into his shows and does an amazing job. It is incredible how successful he has been in his career and I know he will continue to succeed in drumming. It’s people like this that makes me wish I was a musician. Their talent is truly overwhelming!
ReplyDeleteTravis barker is very popular with fellow drummers. I’ve never really understood why or payed attention to how good he was until just now. The video you posted with your blog made me want to watch some more videos of him so I did and I was really impressed. Im no drummer by any means, but I know great talent when I see it. And he started at 4! That’s crazy! It’s no wonder he’s a great drummer. He’s just awesome, and has great energy when he plays. It’s no wonder you like him so much.
ReplyDeleteI absolutely LOVE Travis Barker! I even watched that reality show he and his wife made. He truly is an amazing drummer. I love the videos you posted! It really shows just how good he really is! When I was a preteen I actually tried to get lessons because of him. It failed epically because I could coordinate at all but it was still a fun time and it was all because of this man right here! He is so ridiculously talented. Thanks for sharing this, and now I am going to be watching videos of him all day!
